Membership
Your membership contribution helps C3 to fulfill its mission to support quality arts and cultural activities in the Greater Wilmington Community. Membership is valid for one year and allows C3 to serve the artists and organizations we represent and meet several priorities:
- Arts Funding -- C3 co-manages Grassroots Arts grants with the Cape Fear Museum. This year, $39,350 was allocated for 15 local arts groups and to the Regional Artist Grant program. $12,065 was allocated to support C3 and grant administration.
- Partnerships -- C3 enjoys a partnership agreement with cwilmington.com, which manages the community arts calendar that can be directly accessed through the C3 website. The website also offers volunteer exchange programs, serving as a venue for members to list volunteer opportunities.
- Networking within the Arts & Cultural Community -- Semi-annual "gatherings" sponsored by the local publications Encore, Star News, and Wilmington Journal, with generous in-kind support from local businesses, increase communications and encourage collaborations.
- Advocacy -- C3 encourages increased support of the arts and cultural community.
C3 is a federally recognized non-profit organization and a proud member of the North Carolina Arts Council.
